Brisbane forward Kai Lohmann has revealed he lost hearing in his left ear during first quarter of Saturday’s grand final.
Lohmann copped an accidental knee to the head from teammate Logan Morris five minutes into the match.

He was attended to by medical staff before eventually coming from the field under the blood rule with claret pouring out of his cheek near his ear.
The talented forward was able to return to the field and kicked two goals from 17 touches in the dominant victory over Geelong.
Speaking after the match, Lohmann said he was nursing an ankle injury as well as the ear injury.
