COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Auburn football made a push late, but it took several steps back in a 16-10 loss to No. 9 Texas A&M on Saturday, Sept. 27.

The Tigers nearly beat then-No. 12 Oklahoma on the road a week prior, but they couldn’t improve on the effort in College Station. Their defense had its moments. The special teams held firm. But it, once again, all boiled down to Hugh Freeze and the offense.
