LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Baseball legend George Brett will soon be honored with the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory's prestigious Living Legend Award.
The award, which was established in 2007, celebrates baseball legends who have made lasting contributions to the sport and society.
“I’m incredibly honored to be named this year’s Living Legend,” said Brett. “Louisville Slugger bats were a part of my career from the very beginning, and it means a lot to be recognized by a place that’s so deeply tied to baseball’s history.”
Brett is a Hall of Famer who spent his entire 21-season career with the Kansas City Royals.
