A broad smile spreads across Andrew Bourdeau’s face when talking about another successful Wallaceburg Comic Con.
The third year of the event on Saturday saw the organizer move to another larger venue at the UAW Hall in Wallaceburg to accommodate the growth.

Anticipating he would surpass the 1,500 people who came through the door last year, Bourdeau said, “You never know with these types of things and it’s been nice to see the growth every year.”
He added there was a line-up before the doors opened at 10 a.m.
Bourdeau credits the success to bringing in quality celebrity guests, who were set up in their own celebrity hall this year, along with having various fandoms like Pokémon, Funko Pop and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT), along with a large selection of comic
