SOUTHINGTON, Ohio (WKBN) - Southington Chalker football pitched another shutout during a 42-0 victory over Stryker in 8-man football action on Saturday night.

The Wildcats exploded for 30 points in the first quarter to take control of the game before the third shutout of the season from the defense.

Southington was led by Tanner Kelaon with six carries for 129 yards (21.5 yards per carry), along with two catches for 28 yards and four total touchdowns. He also recorded three tackles for loss and a forced fumble.

Junior Vince DelVecchio also threw a touchdown pass, returned a punt 45 yards for another score and registered a sack on the other side of the ball.

With the win, Southington moves to 5-0 and 3-0 in Northern 8 C
