Gun violence isn’t just a national crisis, it’s a local emergency.
And it’s exacerbated by untraceable firearms, including ghost guns, and machine gun converters.
In spring, a man walked into a Walmart in Marple Township with a Glock Switch. These small devices can be purchased for as little as $20, or even printed in your home.
They turn any gun into an automatic-fire machine gun capable of firing up to 800 bullets a minute. That day police intervened before anything happened, but it would be better if they could stop the proliferation of these devices in the first place.
