PRAIRIEVILLE - Baton Rouge General and Mary's Hands Network teamed up Saturday to train volunteer doulas to support pregnant women in labor.

Organizers said this group was the biggest group yet. Doulas were trained on how to provide emotional and physical support to expecting mothers before and after birth.
