New Delhi, Sept 28: Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate India’s fully indigenous 4G stack and over 97,500 BSNL towers, aiming for 100% 4G saturation nationwide.
This initiative supports the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision, showcasing India’s transition to a self-reliant telecom sector. Modi’s inauguration will coincide with the launch of various development projects worth over Rs 60,000 crore across multiple sectors in Odisha.
Scindia emphasized that within 22 months, India has established the capability to produce its own telecom technology, positioning itself as a global telecom leader, now joining Denmark, Sweden, South Korea, and China in this category. Additionally, India aims to connect 29,000 to 30,000 villages
