In the final moments of a 20-15 win over Iowa, the No. 12 Hoosiers (5-0, 2-0 Big Ten) ended a prolonged chess match against their Big Ten rival with a 49-yard touchdown catch-and-run from Fernando Mendoza to Elijah Sarratt .
Indiana failed to capitalize on similar moments earlier in the game — the same exact play failed in the first quarter — but Mendoza and Sarratt weren't going to let the moment slip through their fingers.
