Philadelphia Phillies star shortstop Trea Turner will be activated for the regular season finale on Sunday, per manager Rob Thomson on Saturday.

Turner has been sidelined since Sept. 7 with a right hamstring strain. His return to the lineup will come against the Minnesota Twins and right-hander Simeon Woods Richardson.

This season, Turner has 15 home runs, 69 RBIs and 36 stolen bases in 140 games. His .305 batting average leads the National League.

The Phillies have already clinched the National League East and are locked into the No. 2 seed. Turner will get one game to reacclimate, before the squad begins its playoff run.
