LYON COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - An Arizona man was not injured after his semi caught fire near Emporia Saturday.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office said around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, deputies and firefighters from nearby departments were called to the area of milemarker 142 along I-35 east of Emporia. Deputies found a Kenworth semi-trailer fully engulfed in flames, with traffic being directed off the highway to allow emergency crews to put it out.
