Barbara Jean Hinds, 60, passed away, Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025, at her home in Milo, Iowa. Funeral services for Barb will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola, Iowa. A visitation will begin at 11 a.m., prior to services. Interment will follow services in the Liberty Center Cemetery. Barb was born on Nov. 6, 1964. After school, Barb worked much of her life as a dietary manager for several nursing homes. She loved to cook and did some part-time catering jobs in the area and creating new food ideas for the staff at the nursing home. Barb was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.
