COLUMBIA — South Carolina football won 35-13 against Kentucky on Sept. 27 despite zero passing touchdowns from quarterback LaNorris Sellers .
Sellers went 11-of-14 for 153 passing yards (79%) and added 81 rushing yards, much better than the minus-28 rushing yards he had the week before. South Carolina's offense logged 171 rushing yards, a week after it finished with minus-9.
Sellers came into the game against the Wildcats (2-2, 1-2 SEC) after having his best passing performance of the season against Missouri. The Gamecocks (3-2, 1-2) lost 29-20 to the Tigers in Week 4 but Sellers had 302 passing yards and two touchdowns.
