The Prime Minister launched the Amrit Bharat Express, connecting Odisha and Gujarat, featuring ergonomic seating, twin-engine safety, and affordable fares (Rs 495 for General class, Rs 795 for Non-AC sleeper).
This 1700 km service benefits entrepreneurs and pilgrims alike. Concurrently, Indian Railways is redeveloping stations like Udhna and Surat with a modern focus for the next 50 years, improving capacity and using advanced tech.
The High-Speed Rail project will connect Surat to Mumbai in one hour, boosting connectivity and economic growth, while setting new standards in railway technology.
