New York: India’s External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, delivered a strong condemnation of Pakistan during his address at the 80th United Nations General Assembly on September 27. He called Pakistan the "epicentre of global terrorism," highlighting that numerous major international terrorist attacks over the decades have been traced back to the country.

Jaishankar emphasized that Pakistani nationals are prominently listed on UN-designated terrorist lists, underscoring the nation’s involvement in fostering terrorism globally. Referring to the April 2025 Pahalgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of innocent tourists, he described the act as "barbaric" and reaffirmed India’s right to protect its citizens and bring perpetrators to justice.
