In a renewed threat to India amid ongoing trade talks with the US, Trump administration Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said that New Delhi "needs fixing," warning that if it wishes to sell to American consumers, it must "play ball with the President."
Taking a potshot at India and Brazil, Trump’s key aide further said that these countries need to do more to open their markets and stop taking actions that harm US interests.
"We have a bunch of countries to fix, like Switzerland, Brazil, India - these are countries that need to really react correctly to America. Open their markets, stop taking actions that harm America, and that's why we're off sides with them," Lutnick said during an interview with NewsNation.
