SAN ANTONIO — Maverick County Judge Ramsey English Cantu said one person is dead and six others hurt after a shooting in the parking lot of the popular Kickapoo Casino in Eagle Pass, Texas, citing preliminary reports passed on to him by the local sheriff's office.

Cantu shared the news on his Facebook page shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday, writing that "it pains me deeply to see these horrific acts of violence occurring in our home.
