BOULDER, Colorado – No. 25 BYU football entered the night still looking for that signature win to prove they are a force to be reckoned with in 2025. As Cougar fans celebrated, national media started taking note of the undefeated team from Provo.

Following a 24-21, come-from-behind win that saw BYU storm back from a 14-0 deficit, head coach Kalani Sitake said his team needed to be tested like that to reach its ceiling.

Perhaps the most amusing interaction of the night came when prized BYU QB commit Ryder Lyons appeared to poke fun at an earlier comment criticizing his commitment to the Provo-based school.
