Ellie Goldstein has spoken out on her first performance live on Strictly Come Dancing after fans rushed to support the show's 'perfect' decision.

The model and actress is among the 15 famous faces competing in the BBC One dance contest this year and she's also making history as the first person with Down's syndrome to take part in the popular programme's main series.

During Strictly's first live show, Ellie and professional dance partner Vito performed the cha cha to Yes, And? by Ariana Grande, scoring 17 out of a possible 40.

The 23-year-old was seen strutting her stuff on the dance floor in a glittering light blue and silver dress, alongside a thrilled and energetic Vito.

As they got their comments, all four judges were in agreement that Ellie 'didn't miss a step'
