Punjab Police carried out an encounter in Amritsar with men accused of writing pro-Khalistan slogans. During the exchange, one suspect sustained a bullet injury in his leg, while another was caught unhurt. The injured has been admitted to a hospital.

According to police, both arrested men are close associates of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the Canada-based terrorist linked to the banned outfit Sikhs for Justice (SFJ).
