Brutal efficiency up forward has helped West Coast to a 42-point victory over Greater Western Sydney, breaking a two-game losing slump.

The Eagles climbed back into the eight with a performance that was inspired by a first-half midfield masterclass from Ella Roberts at Mineral Resources Park on Sunday, while fellow on-baller Courtney Rowley was also prominent.

Roberts’ impact was telling despite being shadowed by Katherine Smith for much of the contest.

She finished with 23 possessions and put the exclamation mark on her game with the sealer from a contested mark in the goalsquare 14 minutes into the final term.

Amy Franklin kicked three goals and Kellie Gibson, playing her 50th game for the club, registered two in a lively display.
