WAVERLY— Wartburg continued its reign of dominance.

The ninth-ranked Knights (4-0) defeated the Coe College Kohawks (2-2) 17-7 in a crucial game in the American Rivers Conference.

It was a marquee matchup with two of the top teams in the ARC dueling for supremacy. With the win, Wartburg extends its winning streak against the Kohawks to eight. The Knights have not lost in the matchup since 2016.

The win was also the Knights’ 28 th consecutive ARC victory. They have dominated the conference for the last four years and don’t show any signs of slowing down.
