Jammu, Sept 28: Jammu airport carried out a full anti-sabotage drill on Sunday after a private airline received a bomb threat email, officials said.

A thorough search by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and local police found nothing suspicious, and air traffic remained unaffected.

“An email was received by a private airliner this morning, and accordingly, a security drill was conducted to rule out the presence of any explosive substance. The email was a hoax,” said an official of the Airport Authority of India.

A police complaint has been lodged, and further investigation is underway to identify the sender of the email. (Agencies)
