Six candidates are reaching for three seats on the St. James Town Council.

Jim Board, Ray R. Irvin, Peter Cudlip, Jeffrey Lewis, Dennis Barclay and Bill A. Miller are contesting for three seats on the St. James Town Council.

The town of St. James was incorporated on July 1, 1999, and is located near Southport and Oak Island. The town includes residential and commercially zoned property, a golf course and more within its 9.2 square miles, per the town's website.
