Temperatures are forecast to settle back into the low and mid-60s in many communities overnight, under increasing clouds. Monday begins with more clouds. Clouds streaming in could make for a prettier sunrise across Maryland early Monday morning.

Imelda sends clouds, few showers to Maryland

Imelda was upgraded to Tropical Storm status earlier Sunday. The Tropical Storms is forecast to become a hurricane as it approaches the southeast coast over the next 48-hours. The hurricane is then forecast to slow down and take a sharp turn out to sea. Coastal impacts are still expected from Florida to South Carolina. Tropical Storm conditions are expected in the Bahamas and portions of the east coast of Florida. Check in with airlines, hotels if you are traveling to these areas early in the week.
