DUBLIN -- The Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings take center stage in Dublin, Ireland , in a game that has received a lot of buzz locally.

Team president Art Rooney II said it was a ‘dream come true’ for the organization who have pushed for it since the International Marketing Rights program became a thing in 2023. The Steelers’ historical ties with the country through the Rooney family have remained strong.

For the Steelers, they face a Vikings team that has been up-and-down at points this season and will be without starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who is battling a high ankle sprain. Veteran Carson Wentz is their backup, and engineered a strong performance against the Cincinnati Bengals a week ago in a dominant 48-10 win.
