Indira Gandhi International Airport here received a bomb threat, prompting the Delhi Police to take heightened security measures and search operations, officials said on Sunday.
In addition to IGI Airport, several schools and other institutions in the national capital have received bomb threats via email, prompting officials to launch search operations. They reported that the two schools that received the threat emails were CRPF Public School in Dwarka and a Sarvodaya Vidyalaya near Qutub Minar. However, the threats were later turned out to be a hoax, a senior officer mentioned.
