Donald Trump on Sunday made a vague statement about "greatness in the Middle East."

The president took to his own social media site, Truth Social, at a time when Israel and Hamas are continuing to fight over the remaining hostages.

Without stating anything specific, Trump wrote, "We have a real chance for GREATNESS IN THE MIDDLE EAST."

"ALL ARE ON BOARD FOR SOMETHING SPECIAL, FIRST TIME EVER," the president then added. "WE WILL GET IT DONE!!! President DJT"
