Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav said while the state is sitting on a time bomb of corruption and unemployment, the state government is attempting to bribe voters ahead of the crucial Assembly elections. However, he asserted that the people of Bihar would not fall for this trap.
Accusing the NDA government in the state of using welfare schemes as an election gimmick, Tejashwi alleged by transferring Rs 10,000 each into the bank accounts of 75 lakh women, the 20-year-old NDA government is trying to buy votes days before the elections. “After ruling for 20 years, the double-engine government has robbed Bihar’s youth of both their present and future. Now, they’re trying to cover up their failures with last-minute handouts under the Women Employment Scheme.
