OXFORD, Miss. (WLBT) - The Ole Miss Rebels secured a season-defining win at the Magnolia Bowl on Saturday, defeating the LSU Tigers, 24-19.
Trinidad Chambliss got his third start of the season against the Tigers and answered many questions surrounding the quarterback situation out in Oxford.
He finished 23-of-39 for 314 yards, his third-straight 300-plus passing yard game, with a touchdown and an interception.
He also tallied an additional 71 yards on the ground on 14 carries.
It was a slow start for the Rebels’ offense, going three-and-out on their first two possessions.
Ole Miss was able to respond with a field goal after the the Tigers’ first touchdown of the the game.
