Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday inaugurated the Basohli Utsav, underscoring the importance of preserving and promoting India’s rich cultural legacy as the nation moves towards the vision of Viksit Bharat.
Highlighting the need to pass on both tangible and intangible heritage to younger generations, the LG said India’s economic growth is matched by the global recognition of its art, culture and traditions.
“Our philosophical, spiritual and artistic capabilities are drawing admiration worldwide. This growing global interest is strengthening India’s soft power,” Sinha said, urging collective efforts to safeguard and celebrate the country’s diverse cultural heritage.
