Ten days after the passing of legendary singer Zubeen Garg, his Kahilipara residence in Guwahati continues to draw people from every walk of life—Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Manipuri, Karbi, and many others—who come to pay tribute, offer prayers, and mourn together.

The outpouring of grief stands as a testament to the deep love and respect Zubeen commanded as a cultural icon, one whose music transcended faith and community, uniting Assam and beyond.

On Sunday, members of the Muslim community held special prayers at his residence, while the Sikh community conducted an Ardas (prayer ceremony) seeking eternal peace for his soul and strength for his family.
