Hyderabad: Just as people in Telangana were heaving a sigh of relief after three days of incessant rains, a fresh threat of yet another major rainfall event has emerged for the coming week.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD)–New Delhi has indicated the likelihood of a new low-pressure system forming over the Bay of Bengal around October 1 to 2 and causing widespread rain during the first week of October.
