HELENA — Frontier Conference cross-over action closed with a bang Saturday with two top-25 NAIA matchups. Montana Tech achieved its first-ever 5-0 start in program history against previously undefeated College of Idaho.

Montana Western extended a three-game win streak, playing last season’s NAIA Football Championship Series Round of 16 opponent, Dickinson State. Nationally-ranked Carroll College capped Saturday's slate with a homecoming triumph against winless Rocky Mountain College.

These contests, for the final time during the regular-season, are considered nonconference matchups. The Frontier’s six-game intra-division schedule begins next Saturday.
