AMES — Not everything about a 39-14 win against Arizona was great for the Cyclones.
ISU coach Matt Campbell confirmed the worst fears regarding corner Jeremiah Cooper's midweek addition to the availability report: A season-ending knee injury.
Cooper will have surgery on Monday. He stood on the sideline for the Arizona game, and his engaged presence drew praise from Campbell.
"It stinks for Coop, but probably the silver lining in the situation is obviously Jeremiah has got another year of eligibility," Campbell said.
