Team Ireland’s World Para Athletics Championships got off to the perfect start on Sunday with a golden double in New Delhi after Orla Comerford produced the performance of her career to claimT13 100m gold.

The Raheny sprinter powered home in 11.88 seconds to secure her first ever World Championship medal and with it, the top step on the podium.
