CORNING, N.Y. (WETM) — On Friday, young curious minds are invited for a night under the stars at SUNY Corning Community College (CCC) exploring galaxies, constellations and more.

Happening Friday, Oct. 3, CCC is set to host 'Kids' Night' at the Digital Dome Theater and Eileen Collins Observatory, the college said in a release. The event is free, open to everyone, and will be held at CCC's Spencer Hill Campus located at 1 Academic Drive from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Kids must have a parent or guardian present, CCC emphasized.

During the event kids and their families have the chance to learn a lot about stars and what exactly to look for when looking at the sky. The night is filled with activities, from arts and crafts, stargazing through telescopes at the observatory, and 360-degree star talks
