A 60-second public service announcement that puts the focus on family violence, murdered and missing Indigenous people will be shown at the Brantford Cinema starting Oct. 4.
“This is Our Truth” features community members who have been victims of violence including those from Six Nations of the Grand River Territory who will share the harsh reality of family violence.
The public service announcement will run for four weeks.
“It is a reality we know to be true and a powerful message for all that demands respect, time and space,” Sandra J. Montour, executive director, Ganohkwasra Family Assault Support Services, said.
