A high-level investigation committee examining the violence in Nepal has recommended travel restrictions for several former officials, including former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The panel suggested a foreign travel ban and a ban on leaving the Kathmandu Valley without prior approval for the former PM Oli, former home minister Ramesh Lekhak, former home secretary Gokarnamani Duwadi, former national investigation department chief Hutraj Thapa, and former Kathmandu chief district officer Chhabi Rijal.
