DETROIT -- All-Pro right tackle Jack Conklin (right elbow) is inactive for the third straight week, meaning the Browns will have two backup tackles vs. the Lions today.
In addition to Conklin being out, left tackle Dawand Jones was placed on injured reserve this week with the knee and hamstring injury suffered on an illegal hit vs. the Packers.
Packers safety Javon Bullard dove low for Jones’ legs, and knocked him out for the season. He underwent surgery Thursday to repair a torn Lateral Collateral Ligament and a hamstring avulsion, meaning the tendon was torn off the bone.
Despite the severity of the injury, Jones is expected to make a full recovery for next season.
In the meantime, he’ll be replaced on the left side by second-year pro KT Leveston, who was pressed into service during
