GRAND BLANC, Mich. -- An investigation is underway into a deadly attack at a Mormon church after a suspect rammed into the front doors and started shooting, according to police.
The shooting happened at about 10:25 a.m. local time at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc, about 50 miles (80 kilometers) north of Detroit, local police said.
Police said the suspect rammed his vehicle into the front doors of the church and allegedly started shooting.
The church was also believed to be intentionally set on fire.
Video of the scene shows as large flames shot from the church before a partial collapse.
Grand Blanc police confirmed one person died and at least nine others were injured.
Police believe more victims are inside the church.
