The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) hosted the 42nd edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle in New Delhi on Sunday, in partnership with the Ministry of Women & Child Development, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and with the participation of Aanganwadi and ASHA workers. The cycling drive saw close to 800 participants.
The event was flagged off by Aanganwadi worker Suman Chauhan from the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium. It was organised in association with the Raahgiri Foundation, while a rope-skipping demonstration was led by Dr Shikha Gupta.

According to the Sports Authority of India, several sports icons joined the fitness campaign, including Indian women’s hockey captain Salima Tete, midfielder Nikki Pradhan, mountaineer Nisha Kumari, and speed skat
