MONTGOMERY – The Barr-Reeve and Washington golf communities will celebrate “October Golf” this season. The Barr-Reeve golf team, and Washington’s Grace Hickey will also be traveling to the two-day state finals later in the week in Carmel.

The Lady Vikings took advantage of the beautiful conditions and weather on Saturday at Country Oaks to qualify for a third-place thinnish with 345 and a ticket to state. Winning the event was BNL with a 332, followed by Castle at 337 and the Vikes at 345. Washington also had a solid showing in fourth at 355.
