Jasprit Bumrah was in no mood to hold back. The Indian fast bowler responded to Pakistan’s Haris Rauf by mimicking his fighter-jet celebration during the Asia Cup final between India and Pakistan on Sunday, 28 September. Bumrah’s gesture appeared to be a direct response to Rauf’s act from their Super 4 clash the previous weekend.

Bowling a near-perfect yorker in the 18th over, Bumrah rattled Rauf’s stumps when the Pakistan pacer, batting on six, failed to bring his bat down in time as the ball sneaked through to crash into the woodwork. The dismissal deepened Pakistan’s troubles, leaving them reeling at 141 for nine.

Bumrah then fixed his gaze on Rauf and produced the gesture of a fighter jet going down.
