A 25-year-old Allentown man died after crashing into a pole Saturday, according to authorities.
The man struck the pole at 5:05 a.m. near Quebec Street on Union Boulevard in Allentown, according to city police .
He was pronounced dead at the crash scene just after 6 a.m., according to the Lehigh County coroner .
He died from multiple blunt force injuries, the coroner said. The manner of death was accident, he said.
The coroner declined to release his name to allow the family to grieve the loss privately. An investigation continues with police and the coroner’s office.
