Property owners upstream from dam structures across the regional watersheds managed by Quinte Conservation can expect a decrease in water levels by mid-October, says Quinte Conservation.

The authority said property owners should ensure all boats, floating docks, etc., have been removed before Mon., Oct. 13.

Quinte Conservation is conducting its annual dam operations in the Moira and Napanee regions on that date as well as afterward.

Shoreline residents can expect changing water levels above and below at the following structures

Moira Region

Caton’s Weir situated below Stoco Lake

Deerock Lake Dam

Downey’s Rapids Weir situated below Moira Lake

Lingham Lake Dam

O’Hara Mill Dam

Skootamatta Lake Dam

Napanee Region

13 Island Lake Dam
