Striking workers say two of three agencies that run group homes for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities have agreed to fund their pensions.

According to the New England Health Care Employees Union, SEIU 1199NE, Alternate Services Inc. and Network Inc. signed an agreement Saturday to increase monthly contributions to the workers' pensions by 0.2%, ensuring the pensions won't default.

Caring Community in Colchester still has not signed the agreement, according to the union.

Nearly 300 group home caregivers walked off the job Friday morning demanding the increase in pension funding.

NBC Connecticut reached out to the three agencies when the strike began, but we have not heard back.
