Bill Parcells wasn’t on the Patriots staff during their dynasty years, but he helped spotlight the franchise from 1993-96 — particularly when New England had the No. 1 overall pick in the 1993 NFL Draft.
The Patriots selected Drew Bledsoe, but it wasn’t so cut and dry when it came to drafting the quarterback. And he might not have ever been part of the franchise had it not been for Parcells.
