Bristol Bears beat Leicester Tigers 42-24 in their first game of the 2025/26 Gallagher PREM season as Louis Rees-Zammit scored in the last play of the game.

It was the Tigers who started the match better as English international scrum-half Jack Van Poortvliet scored in the fifth minute. Danger man Adam Radwan also picked up a first-half brace with some incredible try scoring ability on display. However, the Bears managed to score two of their own in the first half as Fitz Harding and Gabriel Ibitoye dotted down.
