Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf broke a 80-yard touchdown reception from Aaron Rodgers in the first half of their 24-21 victory over the Minnesota Vikings Sunday in Dublin, Ireland.

Metcalf , the offseason acquisition from the Seattle Seahawks, hit a top speed of 21.17 miles per hour on the touchdown, according to NFL Next Generation Stats. Metcalf’s speed ranked sixth in the NFL for fastest ballcarrier in the 2025 season.

Yet Metcalf wasn’t the Steelers fastest player against the Vikings.

Linebacker Payton Wilson reached 22.48 miles per hour on his chase down of Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison to deny a touchdown late in the fourth quarter with 3:14 to play.

Wilson’s speed was the fastest by a linebacker since 2018 according to NextGen analyst Keegan Abdoo.
